Here’s another sneak peak of some of what you’ll see. We’ll have two men, possibly three, one is the husband of one of the models – a couple in their late 40’s I think – he’ll wear a corseted vest with a leather kilt and black tail coat (at least that is the plan). His wife is incorporating her corset into a dress with the top consisting of woven ribbons that become unwoven at the waist with the ribbons flowing freely over a tulle skirt. If the sketch of the dress is anything to go by this will certainly be stunning.
A couple of women are making corsets for their daughters to model (nearly everyone one wanted to either model their own or, have the person they made it for model). Since they were all volunteering and making the corsets at their own expense Linda felt it was only fair to allow this, which will also support that corsets should not be intimidating and are for all women and ages. These corsets range from sophisticated/elegant to fairy costume (with painted wings and exposed panniers) and goth – the models tatoos will be seen. Most of what I have seen indicates that this will be a one-of-a-kind, unique, very bright and upbeat show.
This is developing into a great team effort and I’m really very proud of everyone for working together, supporting each other and behaving in such a positive way – a contrast to what is seen on so many reality TV shows.
