Susan Thompson
Susan Thompson is an accomplished knitter who feels that the finishing techniques of a project are as important as the knitting to achieve a beautiful results. Susan has retail yarn shop experience and coordinates and manages the trade show details for Fine Points in Cleveland, Ohio. She collaborated with and contributed 6 patterns to The Complete Idiot’s Guide of Knitting by Becca Smith, Penguin, 2010. She has also developed tutorials for popular shop projects that give extra guidance, explanations, and encouragement. In 2011, Susan collaborated with BagSmith to develop and bring to market, Block n Roll, the flexible blocking mat. She’s taught a variety of knitting classes including blocking and finishing at yarn shops in Cleveland, Ohio and Charlotte and Asheville, NC. A patient teacher who enjoys sharing her knowledge with others, Susan has helped many knitters through their knitting quandaries.
