Intro to Spinning 2 Ways (10) Beginner
Here’s your chance to discover this traditional art form in an intimate workshop setting. Join the OHS to put a new spin on an old tradition and make your own hand spun yarn for unique projects. Learn how to prepare fibre for spinning. We’ll start by using a drop spindle and then progress to an actual spinning wheel. Fibre generously provided by: The Black Sheep.

Drop Spindle
120c3 – Demystify Loom Weaving (8) Beginner
Take the mystery out of weaving by learning to use a 15” Cricket loom. These simple rigid heddle looms are easy to set up and fun to use to weave scarves, bags and other small projects. Set up your loom, get started with the basics and combine different colours and yarns to create unique effects. A great way to use up leftover yarn from knitting or crochet projects! The fabric you create can be used as a scarf or incorporated into a bag.
