Rosebud is an author, pattern maker and certified instructor with extensive industrial sewing experience in the ready-to-wear industry. Co-author of the Easy Zippers DVD, she travels across the U.S. and Canada teaching techniques from the industry and conducts hands-on pattern draping and drafting for the perfect fit classes. In her spare time, Rosebud custom designs reproduction hats, garments and accessories for those who enjoy traveling the back roads in antique vehicles.

Learn how to produce smooth sleeve caps, which is the best foot for zippers and gathering, perfect topstitching, setting invisible and mock fly zippers, insert pockets, along with fail proof methods for working with slippery fabrics or fabrics with pile. Inside Tailored Jackets (All Levels)
Lined jackets are more comfortable, easier to wear and will last much longer. Learn how to build shape and support into the jacket with tailoring methods from the garment industry to achieve professional results. Discover how to adjust the lining pieces to fit correctly and the easiest method to insert a lining by machine with no hand sewing. Insert a sleeve with no puckers; add a welt pocket quick and easy. With these industry shortcuts you will be able to construct a lined jacket in one day. Kit $10 includes precut sample pieces. It is suggested you take a look at Butterick Patterns B5720 or B5574 before class.

Drafting & Styling Skirts (All Levels)
Learn to draft a basic skirt and how to use three skirt slopers to give you the starting points to develop quick, easy skirt designs or to copy your favourite designer. Learn which sloper to use to create a multitude of skirts, including fitted skirts, skirts with fullness and skirts with style lines. You will also learn how to fit different waistline shapes and keep the hem parallel to the floor, how to design yokes, fitted and flared gores, kick pleats, style lines, sarongs, flounces and more.
