Have fun crafting while giving back, when you participate in the first ever Craft-a-thon, a fund-raising initiative by our charity partner Crafting for a Cure.

When: Sunday, October 27th, 2013
Where: At the Creativ Festival, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, South Building
What: Receive FREE admission to Creativ Festival so you can complete 5 different activities from more than 20 on offer throughout the show floor. Plus, help collate craft kits and make cards for children’s hospitals across Canada.
Here’s how it will work!
- Go online NOW for more details and REGISTER to participate.
- Spread the word to friends, family and business associates, then get them to sponsor you to craft (you will need $100 in sponsorship pledges to participate).
- Discover new crafts or take part in your favourites as you plan your Craft-a-thon booth route from among the choices provided when you check in on Sunday between 8:00am and 10:30am.
- Complete your activities between 10:00am and 4:00pm on Sunday, October 27, 2013.
- Final Stop will be the Crafting for a Cure booth where you will receive your special gift and $150 grab bag if you are among the 1st 100 to register and achieve at least $100 in pledges.

Crafting for a Cure is a not-for-profit registered charity that looks for opportunities to ensure children are having a positive experience when a hospital visit is necessary. They create and donate “Craft-Kits”; craft at hospitals with patients and families and upgrade hospital play rooms and learning centres. Currently CFC has put smiles on children in 42 hospitals across Canada, 30 in the USA, 1 in Kenya and 2 in Israel!
