Beaver, Fox & Mink Wide Scarf/Cowl (20) Confident Beginner to Intermediate

Create a luxurious Beaver or Multi-fur wide scarf which buttons into a large cowl to keep you warm and stylish on winter days. The accessory is ‘All Knit’ with no purl rows helping to keep the scarf flat. Choose a one-colour Beaver fur or Beaver with other furs sewn together to create multi-textures within a single colour group. The elastic loops (to close at buttons) are crocheted in flat elastic provided. You’ll get a good start on your piece and Paula will work with those interested in learning the knit/weave technique used to make larger garments. Bring: 6.5mm or 7mm, 24″ to 36″ length circular needles. Kit $185 (1 colour sheared beaver) or $230 (combination of Fox, Mink, possibly Muskrat, Lamb, Sable, Fisher or Chinchilla depending on colour)

Create a versatile headband/neckwarmer using hand-knitting techniques. Beginner knitters will be able to make a single colour headband, while the more advanced knitter can work the wave or shaped headband with multiple colours and furs using short row techniques. Bring: 6mm, 24″ circular needles. Kit $55 (1 colour sheared beaver) or $75 (Multi fur & colour) 1.5 Hour Workshop – Sun 11:00 to 12:30
