Using a variety of sometimes difficult to work with fabrics, learn hand hemming techniques such as the rolled hem for silks and chiffons, invisible hem and bias hem. Plus, get the scoop on the lost art of handmade buttonholes for jackets and coats. Kit $20

Pattern Making: Bespoke Pants (25) Intermediate
Here’s your chance to finally get pants with a perfect fit! No more baggy seats or unwanted gaps! Discover how to draft a pant pattern using Gio’s perfected ‘Bespoke’ method. Unlike commercial patterns, Bespoke patterns are created to custom fit the individual’s body type. Learn how to take measurements to calculate the formulas required to draft your perfect pant pattern. Once you have completed the paper pattern, Gio will take his own perfect fit pants pattern and cut the fabric, then demonstrate ironing techniques that are crucial to sculpting that perfect silhouette. Bring: 1 metre and 15cm rulers, measuring tape & pencils.
