Sarah James: Knitting Artist at Creativ Festival
Sarah James is only 25 and hasn’t put down her needles since the day her grandmother taught her when she was 11 years old. Driven by chaos and colour, Sarah finds inspiration in the blues and oranges of nature and the spin of her spokes on the pavement. Her designs are devious and freewheeling, filled with broad strokes and shots of lime. Her work has been featured in the Ohio Knitting Mills book and other remote corners of the web.

She has taught hundreds of crafters to knit and crochet at yarn shops, libraries, coffee houses and even on buses. She enjoys inspiring knitters to knit outside of their comfort zones, delighting in mistakes and turning them into design features.
