Liz Tekus, owner of Fine Points Inc.
Liz Tekus is owner of Fine Points Inc., a yarn and clothing boutique and has been teaching and serving knitters for 30 years. When you sample the sensual garments of this textile artist, you’ll step into a rich world of colour and texture. Combining unusual fibres and textures, often 200 different fibres in one garment is her forte.
Lately Liz has become exhilarated by coaching ‘stashbusting’, a creative way to use up left over fibres and by spearheading the Athena Collection, a line of designs for women of all sizes, launched this Spring. She has contributed her designs to several publications, including The Knitters Stash. For the last 25 years, Liz has actively participated in Art Shows throughout the US and been featured in various exhibits at the Cleveland Museum of Art. www.FinePoints.com
