Quilting the Illusion of Cross Stitch (15) Intermediate
Many of you have seen Rebecca’s tiger and asked ‘how did she do that’? Here’s your chance to learn this common technique for creating pictures with fabric called ‘mosaics’. You’ll use the mosaic technique to convert a cross stitch pattern into a fabric block. Pre-printed grid fusible interfacing will help make the project manageable. Bring: Mini iron. Kit $15

Modernize a Classic Quilt Pattern (25) Intermediate
The class will use different solid colour fabric to make strip-pieced bands for the star points and pieced quarter square triangle units for the star center. After the star block is completed, you’ll use different coloured decorative pieces to quilt three layers together. Today’s sewing machines come with lots of decorative stitches, allowing us to modernize the classic star pattern. Kit $15
