Owning Alpacas from Eight and Mud, alpaca farm and a mill has opened up her artistic side even more. Silk Fusion: Mardi Gras Mask (25) All Levels
Felted Mardi Gras Mask Making at Creativ Festival with Sharon Trent.
This technique bonds silk fibres into a luscious felt which can be sheer, light, delicate and transparent or thick and opaque. Because the fibres are unspun, the rich lustre and texture of the silk is captured. Wet felt your mask using beautiful dyed silks, then add feathers, sparkles and other embellishments for that unique, flamboyant Mardi Gras look. Bring: Old towel, plastic bag, rubber gloves, apron, sponge, small bristle paint brush& a sense of celebration! Kit $25

Wet & Dry Felting: 3D Flowers(25) All Levels
Wet Felting 3D Flowers with Sharon Trent at Creativ Festival
Learn to wet felt and dry felt (needle felting) all in one class, as you create beautiful multi-layered 3D flowers using dyed corridale fibres. Watch as your fibres turn into lifelike flowers with the application of water, soap and a little felting agitation. We’ll then switch to dry felting using sheets of felt, roving and needles.A great class to discover two exciting techniques. Bring: Old towel, plastic bag, rubber gloves, apron, sponge, sushi mat & a smile. Kit $20

Needle Felted Stocking (25) All Levels
Learn Needle Felting with Stockings. Great introductory course!
Make a one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking using natural wool, alpaca fibre straight from their mill along with needles and cookie cutters. Add interest and depth by layering fibres for a 3D effect. Hand sew the stocking together and it’s ready to be hung on the mantle. Kit $20
