Here’s your challenge… start with this jacket and let’s see where it goes!
Use your creativity to turn this motorcycle inspired jacket into a fabulous original. For the contest you must use all pattern pieces of the Moto Me Jacket from Dana Marie Design Co. in some way, but you are free to modify them as you like. Have fun. Go crazy or go sophisticated. Anything goes!
Contest deadline is October 1, 2014 and is open to residents of Canada, 18 years of age and older. Finalist garments will be on display at the Fall Creativ Festival.
First Prize is a new Brother ScanNCut Machine, sponsored by Brother and Nova Sewing Centre, MSRP $799.
Second Prize is a gift basket of sewing notions, retail value $250, sponsored by Gutermann.
People’s Choice Award is a $200 Prize Certificate from Distinctive Sewing Supplies.
All Finalists will receive a gift of Swarovski Crystals retail value $100 from Creativ Festival.
Winners will be announced at the Creativ Festival, on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, on the Fashion Runway at approximately 3:20 p.m. You do not have to be present to win. Judging takes place during the Fall Creativ Festival.
