Sandy Jackson
Sandy Jackson and her husband visited Paris in 1966 for three months. As her hands never stop making stuff, she packed some knitting, lace making and a book called 3D Geometric Origami by Masahiro Chatani. After reading the book and understanding how the slice forms worked, she decided to try an Eiffel Tower. With postcards as her guide she measured all the dimensions and made her own little Eiffel Tower card. She was smitten and the rest is history! (some assembly required)™ was founded in 1999.
Filigree Overlay (hands-on 20)
Learn how to repeat an embossed Hasty Lace® pattern to make a surprising and beautiful design. You will make a bookmark with a combination of 8 different patterns. Sandy will share tricks to ensure a neatly folded corner and how to wrap vellum around a backing. Stamped images go behind the vellum when we put the project together. We will be stamping them in black on white paper and cutting them out with a round punch.
