Needle Tatted Ornament – Beginner to Intermediate

Beamish, Kim - Needle Tatted Ornament_700x525Needle tatting is a technique for handcrafting durable lace that can be used to make lace edging as well as collars and other decorative pieces. The lace is formed by a pattern of rings and chains with gaps left between the stitches to form picots, which are both decorative and for practical construction. Kim introduces you to needle tatting as you make this charming decorative accent to create a truly unique ornament.
