Modern Quilts
~ Modern quilts are primarily functional, inspired by modern design and may incorporate bold colours and prints. See designs with high contrast, graphic areas of solid colour, improvisational piecing, minimal design, expansive negative space and alternate grid work. Many Modern Quilts are based on traditional quilt patterns but are given a whole new twist. This is your invitation to experience the work of these modern quilting enthusiasts as they present their passion!
