She is the former manager of an uptown Toronto yarn shop, and has her Teacher Certification in Crochet from the Craft Yarn Council of America. Since completing the samples, lesson plans and volunteer teaching hours required to earn her Certification, Tamara has been on a crusade to promote crochet to die-hard knitters. Join in this perfect introduction for adding crocheted edgings to your knitted garments. While working on a Moebius scarf, you’ll practice adding various edgings to garter stitch fabric on swatches provided. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll see that knowledge of crochet is a great adjunct to knitting for picking up and knitting stitches, button bands and three needle bind off.
