Japanese Folded Patch Bag (25) Intermediate to Advanced

Creativ Festival, Patchwork

Japanese Folded Patchwork by Peggy Kwan. Learn these skills at Creativ Festival.

This centuries old technique was used in China to make silk comforters for the wealthy on special occasions and later more commonly used by the working class with much smaller pieces of old clothing and left over fabric. Still popular today in Japan and Asia, folded patchwork has taken on a modern twist. Join Peggy and learn the technique as you create a stunning patchwork bag. Then use decorative stitches to further embellish. Kit $18.
