Expect the Unexpected at the Stranded in Madagascar exhibit by the Crochet Crowd at Creativ Festival

The Crochet Crowd, booth #517, returns back to Creativ Festival as the island of Madagascar. Creatures, landscape and unexpected items will be on exhibit demonstrating the array of crocheters from around the world. Donations have come in as far as the United Arab Emirates, France, UK, USA and more. Those loveable creatures from the New York Zoo have just been deserted on the island and are taking part of the festivities with Mikey and Diva Dan.

While at the exhibit, you better behave yourself as ‘Nana’ is on hand and has her purse ready to swing. If you feel like dancing, join the lemurs with shak’n you booty to “I Like To Move It Move it!”. There is some really shocking and exceptionally well done characters that look so real too! Enjoy a pretend cocktail under the 4 – 10 feet tall yarn bombed palm trees at the Tiki Bar.

Bring your camera and trust me when I say, you need to see these in person to appreciate the creativity and size of some of the creations! $3000 in prizes will be awarded to 15 lucky crocheters. Come pick your favourite. You will definitely be pointing, giggling and just in awe. If you loved the top hat collection last Spring, you will love this fall’s exhibit.

…. and please… don’t feed the animals, they have had their fill of fibre to prevent them from biting our guests!
