Releasing the Rulers

As a quilter, I see a ruler and think I must have that new cool tool. I know I am not alone with this way of thinking. The new ruler comes home, sits on the table for a bit and then slowly makes its way to the ruler drawer where it never again sees the light of day. After looking for something in the ruler drawer late last year I decided it was time to make something with each and every ruler that I own – a personal challenge to use what I have and see what I could create from my stash and my scraps as well. Come see what happens when the rulers are let out of the drawer.

Room 102 – Fri 4:30 / Sat 9:30

Valerie Miller is an award-winning quilter who designs and publishes patterns, assembles fabric collections, conducts workshops and produces and markets original and custom work. She expresses and explores original graphics, inventive techniques in quilting and pattern design with attention to texture, colour and detail.
