Precious Jewel – Intermediate
Expand your needlework horizons with this beautiful ornament available in a choice of colours. Worked in Punto Antico embroidery, an Italian form of whitework (traditionally worked with white threads on white linen fabric) that shares some similarities with Hardanger embroidery and often involves a cutwork component. The ornament features an impressive cutwork area and is embellished with faux pearls and Swarovski Crystals. Pre-requisite: Experience with linen fabric. Bring: 4-5″ hoop. Kit $25

Learn some of the fun dimensional techniques of Casalguidi-style embroidery while you make this lovely little cupcake. You can use it as a pincushion, or make a few for a pretty tablescape.
