Big Stitch Knitting: ‘Caplets’ & Carpets – Intermediate
Big knitting is all the rage for both wearables and home décor items. You’ll make either a ‘Big Stitch Caplet’ or a Swirl Rug and have it just about finished by the time you leave! All you need is a pair of big needles and one BagSmith Big Stitch Alpaca or Merino Bump! Becca will help you with simple techniques for working with the big yarn and its tools, plus finishing techniques to make the item you choose look fantastic. Pre-requisite: Able to cast-on, knit, purl & knit in the round. Fantastic Fibre Frame – Beginner
Using a wreath frame you’ll crochet, knit, wind and embellish a bare bones frame and turn it into a piece of fibre art. Use it to display a photo, collage or mirror. Your kit will include the frame and basic embellishments to get you started. You take it from there! Bring along your stash yarn, fabric ends, fibres, beads and whatever you want to add to your finished frame. Kit $20
