Claudia Pfeil is an internationally acclaimed award-winning longarm quilter. She started quilting because of her love of texture, movement and the ability to create ‘freeform’ with different mediums such as silk, yarn, beads and more. Her high-quality quilts are embellished in appearance, often with special threads, innovative techniques and even Swarovski Crystals (some have up to 50,000 crystals!).

The ‘Pfun Pfeiling Pfeathers – Style’ is much easier than you might think. Claudia will prove that even the least confident student can leave this class fearlessly quilting her free motion Pfeathers. You will learn countless variations to use in blocks and borders. These Pfun Pfeiling Pfeathers will bring your quilts that special personal touch you’ve been looking for.

Gambling with Echoes (30) All Levels

See how to take the most simple quilting design and make it an opulent, spectacular looking motif. Claudia will show you how you can take simple echoing to the next level of visual excitement. You will learn to echo with different spaces, fillers and lines, curved or straight, narrow or wide, open, rolling and frisky. There is no limit to the fun you can have playing with echoes.

A2Z Quilting (30) All Levels
A2Z quilting is as simple as writing your alphabet! This new and innovative idea uses the alphabet as the basis of a brand new quilting motif and can be used in border blocks or an all over design. This is a perfect class for beginners and anyone looking for something new. Take something as simple as ABCs and make it an elegant quilting design. Transform your handwriting into design! It won’t look like letters anymore!

Fantastic Free Motion Borders (30) All Levels
Learn Incredible Skills with Claudia Pfeil at Creativ Festival.
Claudia will guide you to learn and master various motifs. Learn beautiful, distinctive leaves, flowers and more. The focus is to fearlessly fill borders and sashings using free motion techniques. You won’t find any tools, gadgets or marking in this class. Learn to develop your own personal style with fun and fanciful stitching. You will be encouraged to use your longarm in much the same manner as a pen. Claudia will walk you step-by-step through simple designs and continue through many more advanced techniques.
